Kate Hudson started her day in the most adorable way: Her two-year-old daughter, Rani Rose, joined her for a mother-daughter yoga session. The little one sat on the actress’ lap, raised her arms, and said “om” alongside her mom, and then promptly jumped up to to play.
Rani’s been doing yoga since she was a baby—in fact, Kate says yoga was a huge part of her pregnancy, so her daughter’s technically been doing yoga since before she was born. “Yoga was a huge part of supporting my pregnancy,” the Fabletics co-founder, 41, captioned a photo for International Yoga Day that showed off her belly. “I loved my practice with my growing belly and connecting to her beautiful spirit.”

Though Kate s big on mixing up her fitness routine, yoga and Pilates are her two mainstays. She’s been working with her trainer, Nicole Stuart, for over 20 years, since she was 19 years old. “I know I’m at my strongest is when I’m doing my Pilates because it never gets easier. The more you do Pilates the harder the things you can do become,” Kate previously told Women’s Health. “I love how flexible I feel and I like what it does to the shape of my body.”
Aside from yoga and Pilates, Kate uses her Peloton regularly. “I have the Peloton Tread, I just got it and I love Peloton,” Kate said. “I think they make it so easy to have ‘no excuse’ workouts. [I can spend] 10 minutes doing a little mile run instead of just sitting there doing nothing.”
